Veritas Capital put a recommended Rule 2.7 cash offer on Bodycote plc. CVC was already on a Rule 2.4 at 915p. The firm offer arrived 25p higher, the day before Put Up or Shut Up.

A firm 940p versus waiting on CVC or the listed plan. That is the underwrite, not a recommendation.
